RE/CREATE JIVOMIR DOMOUSTCHIEV COUTURE SHOW

Only a few weeks after my Debut Pure Kink show in New York I was asked to showcase in my home city of London as part of the RE/Create show platform a show directed by Minion Lou and Produced by YouYou Zhou. I have been dreaming of showing a pure fashion expression in London.  This finally just felt right. Staged at St Johns Church Hyde Park a venue I grew up next to and also on the street outside the iconic Selfridges.  I chose to show a cross section of my favourite pieces from my collections.  I don't work seasonally and to me fashion is about wearing your favourite pieces and almost like a child layering those pieces to create a pure wearable individual sculpture. I asked my dear friend and visionary stylist Sayuri Bloom to oversee the styling of the show as it coincided with the launch of her new creative project Lumen magazine.  Having an outside eye is essential to touch what is modernity. As designers we can get lost in our unequivocal vision.

The absolutely stunning and one of my best friends the incredible Jessica Miller came to visit my atelier when on tour in London. So happy we got to catch up and reminisce about all the great moments we have shared around the world. Of course we played dress up trying on some of my new favourite pieces and I was lucky enough to photograph her in these looks.. A very nerve racking experience. As one of the greatest supermodels Jessi has been photographed by all of the greatest photographers of our time. I love these images.
