Having grown up mesmerised by the truly intoxicating, inspirational and visionary work of photographer Nick Knight, it was such an honour to be asked to have some of my ATÉLIER JIVOMIR dresses sent over for a live online photoshoot for Garage Magazine in collaboration with Showtudio.com.  The photoshoot was to be shown live on Facebook and also illustrated by some of the greatest fashion illustrators of our time.. I remember watching the entire photo shoot on my laptop hoping that my dresses would indeed get used.  when the models appeared on screen i was overwhelmed with emotion... Having collaborated together on a cover story shoot for V Magazine, I was thrilled to get a call from The incredible stylist Patti Wilson requesting some more custom creations for her next Vogue Italia fashion story to be shot in New York with the incredible Steven Klein photographer..  Understandably as a young designer this is the moment you dream of...  As i was going to New York for meetings I was invited to firstly meet Patti and then on set of their dream team shoot which would feature the wonderful beautiful supermodel Lara Stone..  You can imagine how excited i was to meet everyone... as it turns out they were all wonderful..  and then magic happened ...   the result are these stunning pictures... I'm speechless..  thank you Steven for being so lovely and Patti for believing in me...  and everyone else involved... The wonderful Diane Kendal on makeup, the great Shonju on hair & the lovely Honey on nailz....  Dream team...  

What an amazing collaboration.  I was so excited when the legendary visionary stylist Patti Wilson first approached me on this.. I felt so honoured to be asked to create a custom dress for this Cover shoot for V Magazine V102 feature on The Neon Demon.  Having always followed her work it was truly humbling that she would like my work and then commission something special..   Knowing that the photographer would be Steven Klein whose work is truly cinematically beautifully visionary i was so inspired... Having looked at a mood board I instantly understood bot Patti and Steven's vision.. They are great communicators almost building a still from a movie inside your head with just a description..  Also having seen a lot of recent press on the beautiful Elle Fanning i knew exactly what i wanted to do..  when the pictures first came out and still today I feel so amazing to have designed something which was used to help create such a beautiful photograph.

 

What an  amazing experience to watch mr Nick Knight one of the photographers who I have always followed, always been inspired by his true unrestricted, beautiful and forever challenging vision, photograph...
