In trying to reimagine our future I saw so much fast 'fashion' in stores, garments created and never sold, unwanted, destined to be burnt or buried. I find this heart breaking . I aim to design garments that we develop an emotional attachment to. With this collection Buying overstock end of line garments, something unwanted and using them as a raw material to create something desirable, something collectable, something that can be passed down, a wearable sculpture. This designs consists of reworked overstock puffa jackets intwined into a new unique sculpture shape. The coat can be worn a number of different ways depending on which sleeve you choose creating mesmerising shapes.

Personal Statement in response to those asking: This ongoing concept was developed in late 2020 and launched In January 2021. I see it as a way we can help the world in tackling overproduction in the fashion industry. Both the ethos and images were circulated to all leading international press back then. This will be an ongoing part of my collections despite being adopted both visually and conceptually by well known international brand for their SS2024 collection. This designs and approach are unique to me and Not the mega brand that has adopted it.
