London based luxury vegan fashion designer Jivomir Domoustchiev of ATÉLIER JIVOMIR was commissioned to create seven original wearable sculpture looks for Lady Gaga's Stupid Love music video, part of the Chromatica album campaign — one of the most visually ambitious pop releases of 2020.
Working from mood boards provided by acclaimed stylist Marta Del Rio, Jivomir designed a series of all white sculptural pieces: hand crafted sculpture jackets worn over split sleeve white neoprene kimono style coats, each finished with frosted Spirit Animal headpieces. The collection, internally titled The Spiritual Ones, was entirely unique seven individual looks built around ATÉLIER JIVOMIR signature approach to wearable sculpture using vegan vinyl and hand finished materials, made in London.
The scene featuring the looks was filmed but ultimately cut from the final edit. On the one year anniversary of Chromatica, Jivomir discovered images from the shoot confirmation that the pieces had been worn on set by Gaga's team, even if they never reached the screen.
The collaboration did not end there. Jivomir Domoustchiev also dressed Lady Gaga in the Multi Ring Harness Chain Dress for the Rain on Me music video a duet with Ariana Grande that became one of the defining fashion moments of the Chromatica era. The piece exemplifies approach: avant-garde, vegan, and made to be worn as sculpture.
